  • I will not be working.

Question

  • Will I be working?
  • Will they be working?
  • Will you be working?

Uses

The future continuous tense is used to say that something will be in progress at a particular moment in the future.

  • This time tomorrow I will be working in the garden.
  • ‘Can I come and see you at 5 o’clock.’ ‘No, please, don’t come then. I will be watching the tennis match on TV.’

The future continuous is also used to talk about future events which are already planned.

  • I will be staying here till Monday.
  • She will be coming soon.

The future continuous tense can also be used to predict the present.

  • Don’t phone them now – they will be having dinner.
